What Informs Paul’s Work

While Paul’s approach is deeply commercial, practical and grounded in experience, there’s also something beneath the surface that quietly shapes how he works.He’s the seventh son, of a seventh child, of a seventh child – a lineage often associated with insight, intuitive awareness, heightened perception, and an uncommon ability to sense what others may not yet see or say.Though it’s not something he speaks about often, clients frequently say he has a way of naming the unspoken – sensing what’s going on beneath the surface, often before they’ve fully realised it themselves.It’s not something he tries to explain. It’s simply how he works. Quietly. Naturally. Effectively.

Why all the aviation references?

One of Paul’s earliest dreams was to become a pilot. That path changed when he got his first pair of reading glasses at age 11 – but his love of aviation never left.

Over the years, aviation has consistently featured in both his professional and personal life. He’s worked in aircraft maintenance, collaborated with clients in the airline sector, and advised pilots on both business and personal matters.

Paul has also personally explored nearly every form of flight:

He’s flown small aircraft, co-piloted a helicopter, floated in a hot-air balloon, experienced the serenity of a glider, skydived (twice), and even performed a Wing Walk on top of a high-powered Stearman Biplane doing aerobatics at 3,800 feet – experiencing loops, stall turns, Cuban eights, and 4G-force manoeuvres.

It’s all part of his passion for reaching new heights – in life, in business, and in perspective. One day, he hopes to experience the overview effect from space.

A Milestone Worth Flying For

To celebrate 21 years of helping clients unlock their genius and soar in business, Paul marked the occasion with a dramatic Wing Walk – standing on the wings of a 1940s biplane, hurtling from 0 to 150mph in 3 seconds. It was a moment of gratitude, exhilaration, and tribute to every client who’s trusted him on their journey.

Giving Back

Paul is also deeply committed to impact. Some of his most cherished memories come from visiting community projects in Cambodia and Kenya – supporting initiatives that provide clean water, bicycles for school children, safe housing, playgrounds, and protection for vulnerable girls at risk of trafficking.These moments remind him of what truly matters – connection, contribution, and growth that benefits more than just the bottom line.

On a personal note…

Paul has been married to Dymphna for over thirty-three years, and together they have two grown sons, Mark and Ian.Their most recent addition is Moka, a rescue dog – a four-year-old mix of German Shepherd and Collie – who has quickly established herself as the true boss of the household.
